My lovely little mum, my ice-cream girl. With your beautiful face and twinkly blue eyes, your smile lit up the room bewitching every single person that met you. Mum, you gave us all so much, your love of music and family, you taught us right from wrong, you were wiser than we knew. You had a saying for every occasion, including my personal favourite, 'Do as I say and not as I do'. How I wish you were still here to listen to my stories, "what have you been up to?" You would ask me, then listen, smiling while I would tell you. I miss asking you to 'drink some water please'. And you conniving with people to trick me into thinking you had drunk more than you had! Mum, you will always be the girl that loved family, children, bright colours, ice-cream, nice hair, old films, music and gardening. The Queen of the one-liners, we shall miss you forever, life will not be the same. 🩷💚🩵💛💜
